radio silence — haiku

what if we never heard…

desperate for you
poems, fine words, bated breath
radio silence

absolute quiet
did you hear me calling out
radio silence

endless miles, grind, hurt
winter thoughts, exhausted mind
radio silence

cobwebs diffused beams
dust settled, new dreams arrive
radio silence

then we must move on…

Sometimes, silence speaks loudest and very eloquently, I reckon.

what do you think about it?

      • Your poems always remind me of a lost love…you know the one that got away…and I agree time makes it better and that you also have to make a conscience decision to move on…and then one day you realize you haven’t thought of the person all day…and then sometimes weeks…then months..but I always remember significant dates and I still think of him and hope he’s ok..and I have no regrets. Not sure if that’s what you’re talking about, but that is what it makes me think of lost love.
