the corral sits empty. I admit now to sending the girls in to pretend they were horses and lick the salt block. The would whinny in their little voices, and hop, skip, gallop into the corral like the good little ponies they were.
Sigh… that looks so “movie-like”, how lucky you are to experience it. Thanks for sharing – I love the photos π
glad you do. I love your pics, especially when you went to visit your family.
Thanks – I do love the country. Seems like there’s not so much to photograph in suburbia but perhaps that’s because I see it every day and take it for granted.
your blog makes me interested in the culture as well.
Interesting – I wouldn’t have thought that, in what way? I will endeavour to share more “cultural” type stuff π
the cusine, the art, what your life is like.
Then I shall continue to entertain in such a manner π
Loved horse as a beautiful animal but knew nothing about it.Thanks for sharing such interesting details..enjoyed reading
thanks for reading… you may enjoy the post “Magic in the corral” too
Bedtime then? I wouldn’t mind going back to bed.
no, then a walk down to the lake, then we would snuggle up on the couch and read out loud from Tolkien, or Harry Potter, or the three musketeers, or maybe Angelina Ballerina
And then bedtime? π
then a billion stars….
Since everyone is asking to come visit…I thought I might throw my name in the mix :). Hope you are feeling better. Lovely place looks peaceful…a far cry from Chicago and it’s many suburbs.
I have been reading about horses since the last two posts! Seems like you and your little ones love horses – my parents own a farm, when we go thee in vacation we certainly do horse riding, it is always so much fun!
I hope you are felling better now.
Blessings,
-Naima.
the place in the pictures is our vacation place with many horses. Since you are my “third” daughter, I would let you go in the corral and lick the salt block after the horses had gone out too ( smile )
Awwww.. I would love to try that!
I am excited to visit the horses already!!
-Naima.
laughing… you really wouldn’t have to lick the salt block, now my daughters are probably horrified that I let them do that….. but maybe someday….
But I am the youngest so I can try – really an attempt is worth the effort . Lol
( smile ) great heart leads to great adventures!
Great adventures leads to an experiencing life time! [Smiles]
right you are!
π
do you own horses? Do you live on a ranch? Can I move in?? Just kidding, no I’m not hahaha!
