“Dad”, from the six year old blond bundle of curls. “Mom said you would give us our snack before we go to bed”. Beside her, in green footed jammies her four old sister nodded solemnly.

“OK — I can do that, would you like a surprise?”

Blue eyes check with brown eyes, showing big smiles, one sans two front teeth.

“Look, I have dry puppy food for you. Can you sit like good little puppies? Good puppies, remember puppies don’t use their hands.”

Munching contentedly, a puppy in green jammies and one in a pink nightgown push their bowls of dry cheerios across the kitchen floor with little puppy noses.

    With love and blessings,

  4. What a great story. Can’t say my dad ever fed me from the floor but I used to pretend I was a German Shepherd and he would play along. πŸ™‚

My boys have always loved to pretend to be puppies too. The little ones even take each other for walk sometimes. I haven’t done this for a while, it’s a nice reminder from a lovely Dad. Jen

  6. This was just one of many funny-crazy things you did with the girls. Lots of good memories.

Not sure what this is all about, but interested. Will check out other stuff and see if similarly bent (meant in nicest possible way of course).
