one enchanted evening…

A meal shared with the one you love always tastes better. Pictures complements of my wife’s iPad
A nice red from France to compliment the meal and not overshadow it…
Bread with unsalted, just slightly sweetened butter
Salad with a dressing of Parmesan cheese ice cream, it melts and mingles with the balsamic vinegar reduction…
Soup… just right for a fall night
Then the fish…
And the meat…
and dessert ( always one more “s” than desert ) I passed on the fig creme brulee, but the molten chococlate with ice cream was very very good
Mmm, oh my word. My date nights go nothing like this. That steak looks divine
the red wine reduction made each bite delicious, and truffled potatoes… a bite of beef, potatato, a sip of dry red…. great….
nice work -Ive been on the computer for over a week=sick-then the cable got messed up, I had 977 messages piled u, so obviously I wont be able to do a lot-still not well-rough week. Hope you are doing well–beebeesworld

Wow! What an awesome night. You deserve it! I love the food shots! Once again, congrats to you both!
thanks…. It’s fun to have a nice restaurant where you can frequent for special occasions.
The food looks delicious and the way you describe is mouth watering. Glad you enjoyed your night out.
thanks for sharing it with us Diana.
Looking good! I was sold, when I saw the first picture, red wine and red rose. That combination never fails. You’ve got good taste. Congrats with anniversary to you both! 🙂
thanks! We are big wine fans…. fine wine shared…. can’t be beat
Thank you for sharing your beautiful lovely evening with us and of course the food can’t be ignored as the photo credits goes to your lovely wife! May you both share happiness and love beyond measures 🙂
With love and blessings,
-Naima.
thanks Naima, you are very kind
You’re always welcome 🙂

maybe one day we can meet for dinner. The world is a small one after all.
Yeah, the world really is small! And I look forward to meet you so much but instead of meeting in a restaurant would you like to try my cooking skills – after all I do not cook that bad.. lol
-Naima.
Sounds great, we shall bring flowers, and you can prepare the meal.
This sounds amazing!! 🙂

I got to tell you, I looked at every picture relishing the colors, the descriptions, the presentations, imagining the tastes and textures, and the anticipation, and the company, the hand holding (I hope) and smiles and what a wonderful evening it must have been because it certainly was a lovely time for me being an outsider who stepped inside for a while. Happy anniversary again. And I’m glad to see there was no chiliiiiii. Randy
thanks Randy!
Randy, you can stop by my blog for another ( also positive) point of view…or iis that poiint of viiew?? You’ll see the same pictures from my iPad, though, but you’re welcome to have another meal with us, if you’d like.
with or without ceiling fans?
I just got filled in on this joke. Fortunately for me, we have ceiling fans. 🙂
The food looks marvelous. Thanks for sharing your evening with us. I’ve only had sea bass once, and it was delicious.
Thanks for stopping by — we always like this place for the little sauces that Chef Amaury makes, and the way that he can tell you the farm where each ingredient comes from. It is our special occasion place.
How nice.
It was a lovely evening but not as lovely as the company.
Mutual, I’m sure….
It’s not the same without the accent. This is from “White Christmas” for those of you wondering what we’re talking about. You can hear it right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWMqA_9wCqI, in case you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing the movie.
