scanning
Posted: September 17, 2012 Filed under: cancer | Tags: cancer, healing, mri, radiation treatment, recovery, scan, thyroid cancer 32 CommentsOne more scan, less than five minutes on the table while the MRI whirrs around you. The tech is friendly, she is a cancer survivor and we compare scars. “Who’s your surgeon, Donzelli? Mine too, isn’t he just the best.” All done, then it’s off to wait.
Today a call, “We found a brain, and no masses”. If only I had this evidence of a brain when my daughters were teens. They would never have believed it.
Haha…I love that sense of humor….we found a brain. Now I’m thinking every parent should get an MRI of their brains so we can whip the proof out and prove to those rascally children that we do indeed have brains!
Yes, but they would want it notarized!
Aha…I’m a notary! 🙂
perfect!
LOL! “We found a brain.” That’s usually a good sign.
I’ve heard the Tin Man was looking for on in case you get tired of yours.
I hope your brain didn’t come in a jar marked “Abby-something” ;-D
I love your posts!
Russ
That’s some great news Bill! Both, the non-existance of the masses and picture evidence of the brain. It’s not too late to send the evidence to daughters with a “told ya” note! I’m sure they will be glad. ;P You’re just got the most amazing dry humor I’ve seen/experienced. Thanks for that and I am glad you’ve got this good news.
thanks! Glad you enjoy my humor, I think most people think it a but unusual!
I’ll believe it when I see it! 🙂
you would probably say the picture was forged!
My thoughts are that I’m glad everything turned out okay with this. Grab a beer and kick your feet up. 🙂
that sounds like a good idea!
My good ideas are rare. Run with it my friend. 🙂
few brilliant ideas overshadow many lesser ones ?
Good morning.
Aside from enjoying you humor and lightheartedness – and what I think is a spiritual side, I offer my congratulations and sense of relief – although I admit I have only recently been “involved”, I’m not sure that is the best word to use here but, with you so I don’t really know what going on. I thought it was a something with your knee at first, now I read about the brain, and I see a tag for thyroid.
BTW, my email is mail@schoolbusmart.com if you ever want to go off-line.
Best wishes and regards, Randy
thanks — I am like one of those old MG Midget cars where they were a loose collection of bolts partially assembled. ( fun but prone to breaking down )
My email is bill_gncs@Hotmail.com
Now that is good news…:)
indeed, thanks for stopping by!
What a wonderful report !!! Not sure brains would have helped with teenage daughters, didn’t seem to help me much with mine LOL. God Bless continued good health for you with God’s tender mercies and blessings! 🙂
thanks! I appreciate it!
You make every moment magical with brains or without brains (who cares)lol
Hope you are healthy back again with fast recovery 🙂
With love and blessings,
-Naima.
laughing… brains help!
You are far better without it (if you claim so – better than those who actually possess one)
-Naima.
let’s hope my wife married me for my looks!
Well, she can’t deny ya were charming 😉
Your photos speak for an evidence
-Naima.
I think boys will chase you because you have beauty, brains and are doubly charming!
I think girls did the same for you in your youth, didn’t they? 😉
-Naima.
Alas no, I had a terrible allergy…. I was allergic to girls!
You were allergic, they weren’t so you could have still be chased 😉
-Naima.
laughing ( just bring your track shoes ), but when you find the one you like, run just fast enough so he can catch you!
Hahaha 😀
I am sure ya are always here to prepare me for the warm-up 😉
-Naima.
