midnight snack

Take two pieces of bread out of the freezer, microwave for 15 seconds until hot and soft. Open a can of mild jalapeno peppers and carrots and drain. Lather the bread with mayo, cover with peppers and carrots cover and slice.

a bite of sandwich, a sip of Guinness. Repeat until warm and toasty on the inside and out.

Just invented this, but it sure beats shopping when it’s cold outside.

  11. Lol!! Yet, jalapenos are a recent happy discovery in my life.

Love that Guiness part – did JD make an appearance (?) just to ensure all got washed down 🙂

  13. OH MY!!! You must have a stomach of iron!!! By the way if you love Guiness, you must go to Ireland and drink the “real” stuff. I had the great privilege of riding horses through Ireland and we would frequently stop for lunch at a pub and have a pint or two. I am not a drinker, but it was the right thing to do. They get insulted if you turn down their brew. Because of my small frame and no tolerance for alcohol, I would be smashed after lunch. So I became the entertainment for my fellow riders in the afternoon. They would “dare” me to do things on the horse, and of course, feeling no pain and pretty much invincible I would oblige. Too funny!!!

  14. You’re too funny!
