country mouse goes to NYC

I finally made it to NYC. Bolstered by a creme filled chocolate Cadburry Egg we set out.

If “in vino veritas”, “in chocolate, courageous” ? Must be the Latin…

There’s something about riding the train, the swaying and rhythmic click of the wheels that feels natural. It’s like trains and man are natural companions, a union of flesh and steel.

The weather was great, and the city quite friendly. We visited the Ruben Museum on Asian Art, a fine value then spent some time at a farmer’s market and in the park.

Love the photos. I agree, there is something about trains, maybe the fact that it takes longer time to get from A to B, as compared to planes, so those long conversations we have on trains make some great memories.

hi Resa — it was great fun — we saw a little off broadway show called “Mr Irresistible” then had dinner at a vegan restaurant which was great and then caught the sleepy train back to Philly.
