The night sky outside our cabin in Wyoming. It continually teaches me the meaning of “awe”
May there be wonders in your life.
A lovely post, with a wonderful wish at the end. Yes may there be wonder. Also may I add how gorgeous those Big Horn Mountains must be… I feel like I’ve seen them through author Craig Johnson’s eyes as I’ve read every one of his Walt Longmire novels. I will add I’ve seen Montana a few times and am a lucky Albertan myself, but I feel drawn to come visit Wyoming and see that wild beauty. Just wanted to add that! Cheers, Gina
I love that shooting star streaking through the top of pic. The sight look wonderous!
yes, it was great timing and a little luck. I always forget the magnificence of the night skies. One day I want to see the northern lights.
Thank you for pushing me into awe, with your reflection, with the image you draw, and the photo of the sky.
I remember the first time I looked up into the night sky and realized it wasn’t flat. I was a child, and the realization left me breathless.
I miss the darkness of the night, the beautiful Chicago skyline is not the best place to seek it!
no Andrea, Chicago is the place for sunrise and sunset. Thanks for your nice complement.
Oh, those starry nights in the Bighorns! It’s something you take home with you, isn’t it? Lovely photo and thoughts.
Sometimes magic does exist
Awesome photo!
isn’t it great, he actually caught a meteor – my daughter’s friend took it. Seeing the stars like the milky-way never ever bores me.
I know what you mean. I can sit and watch the night skies for hours.
I thought you might appreciate this one….
There truly are wonders all around us. 🙂
yes, we need but look
I agree!
Can’t help thinking this post has 2 meanings. One literal and the other spiritual. Lovely thoughts.
Two meanings? That would be poetry 🙂
I’m just a simple fellow…
and viewing the heavens in the mountains is breathtaking. But I do have a funny story about it one time…
And when you least expect them, they are received with so much more joy.
yes, where one can love, one can hope.
