dna news

The results are back from 23andme.com. You send them a saliva sample, then they sequence your DNA and you can view the results on their website. It’s a combination of fun and some serious information.

It’s nice to score in the 98th percentile in any test, I just never thought it would be from having 3.1% of Neanderthal DNA.

My kids may have suspected it.

Lol! Great post! If you’re Eastern European, you must come from my neck of the woods. I live in the US, but moved here from Romania over 2 decades ago. The DNA kit sounds like a great thing to try, especially for someone interested in genealogy. Was it very expensive?

  4. So did they find the stubborn gene? πŸ˜‰

  6. Of all the tests my body has endured, this one would be fun! I’d love to have my little dog take that test, too–we suspect beagle & terrier but he may be Neanderthal too!
