a bike for up north

At 2wheels2kids.wordpress.com, We had a great Christmas – Jan and I funded three bikes, and a donor funded a fourth. We exceeded our goal. For 2014 we are shooting for 10 bikes, three of which Jan and I will fund. If you care to join us, donate a bike to a kid who can use one. If you care to be a donor, send us a check at:

740 Violet Circle
Naperville, IL

Words don't approach how great it feels to give a kid a bike.

  2. Reblogged this on Busy Mind Thinking and commented:
I am working through the numerous posts I had missed in December, when I happened on this. This everyone, is my son! The folks behind this, Bill and Janet, touched our hearts…and we’re all the way in Canada. It’s more than a gift of a bike, it’s a gift of love. If you can help support their generosity in reaching out to others, through them, please do. Much love to you both, Belinda

  3. I shared on Twitter and FB.

  4. Resa says:

How much does a bike cost for a donor to buy?

    • Resa, the bikes we bought were about $250 each, but we don’t expect everyone to give that. You can give any amount you want and we’ll put it with whatever else we get until we have enough for a bike. Every little bit helps and the looks of joy on the faces of those receiving the bikes is priceless. Thanks for your interest.

  5. I can help with $ but I shared on tweeter and FB. Excellent work.
