June 2 – national cancer survivor day
Posted: June 2, 2015 Filed under: cancer | Tags: cancer, live long and prosper, national cancer survivor's day 29 CommentsI just saw that today is national cancer survivor day. Not exactly a club anyone would choose to join, but once cancer drafts you, membership is OK. I’m still here, so that’s good. Hard to believe it was three and 1/2 years ago that I went under the knife.
In the words of Mr Spock… Live long and prosper. I plan to.
Well Done π Good to have you here in blogging-land!
I’m glad you made it
thanks – just got back from cycling in the black hills
Good for you! Rock on!
And you too !
I don’t know what it must have been like to go through it, but my hats off to you and my heart!Three and a half years have gone by – congratulations! – and many more happy and healthy and bike-filled and root-beered beard filled and daughters joy-filled and janet-filled and blog-filled and everything you wish for yourself-filled days ahead. π
Much love and respect,
Randy
Thanks Randy – appreciate it, and of course love and respect returned
Well said!!!!
thanks – when I watched the movie Mr Pip – how Dickens gave inspiration across the cultures – I thought you’d appreciate it.
Congrats, Bill! I, for one, am very happy you survived!
Thanks Resa – since then, I have paid special attention to the fruit course π
Good idea!
Much fruit love to you!
Glad you’re here too Bill. I’ve been a member for 6 months now.
welcome to the club π
I’m so glad you are living strong! The day you called me to tell me you had cancer was like 9-11. I’ll never forget where I was and I’ll never forget thinking that I won’t ever be ready to say goodbye to my dad. So glad I didn’t have to. π
me too. Dad loves Shannon.
I’m counting on it!

I certainly feel that way every time you visit my blog for a chat. x
My grandson, Michael, survived brain cancer at the age of two because of stem cell and six chemo episodes. If you wish to read about it, it is on the blog.
I’ll check it out.
Good for you. Keep peddling.
heading for 3,000 miles this year!
