Waiting after an operation is a positive thing. You rarely hear of a surgeon coming up and saying, “Oops, see you in two weeks.”
No, their report on the surgery is almost always positive. So, why not recover in peace and happiness?
The last week and a half has been pleasant in an unsuspected way. Lazy with lots of play station, concerned people around. A bit of discomfort, nothing much pain wise. And, no bad results.
A wait in the eye of the storm?
Maybe. And sometimes there are dreams I prefer not to share. But with each dawn the sun shines down in glory, and the sky is blue. The frost or snow glisten like perfect crystal.
Tomorrow with talk of lymph glands and radiation will come soon enough.
For today, as far as I know, I am cured.
