Cancer is waiting. Four vials of blood, and then a week, maybe two before you know. If you see the results, they are .3 instead of .2. Does that mean good or bad? This time, a protein marker for additional cancer tumors came up false. Not a scan, just a bit of good news after a long wait.
There could still be single cells remaining ready to erupt soon, or a decade from now. With this type of cancer, it can reoccur at any time down the road. I’ll take that chance. Today’s good news will suffice, until the next test.
